SATURDAY MORNING

Saturday morning once involved cartoons when I was a child.  However, Saturday morning cartoons once were something pure.  Saturday morning cartoons told a story and that was it.  Saturday morning cartoons was supposed to be educational.  However, nobody watched the Flintstones because it taught about arts, sciences or current affairs.  There wasn't any merchandising involved.  Children cartoons has become a business.  Almost all the Saturday morning children cartoons broadcast in the 1980's decade was designed to sell something---An action figure, a toy, a game or all of the above.  1980's era Saturday morning cartoons became twenty-four minute comercials.  I'm not sure if Saturday morning cartoons improved since then.  Though the twenty-four minute comercial advertisement pretending to be a Saturday morning cartoon does have it's values, try to keep the following in mind.  When children ends up saying, "I want this and I want that."---The parents ends up paying the bill.  Children are too young to pay for stuff.  Then again, toy companies probably already knew that when they tie in the latest toy to the latest Saturday morning childrens cartoon show.

While I'm thinking about Saturday morning cartoons, here are some photos of film and television actress Katie Holmes.
