FIRST DAY OF JURY DUTY

Gentle Reader, if you have the chance to get drafted for Jury Duty, I strongly recomend that you do so.  Since I'm not employed, I got the entire day free.  Plus, I can always fill out job application forms before taking the public bus ride home.  As a result, there's nothing to get in the way for me to do an entire day of Jury Duty.  Essentially, I spent a large period of time in a room waiting for the chance to serve in the Jury for a major (or minor) courtroom case.  Oh yes, there was the standard first day orientation film plus one of the courtroom judges gave a speech about what an honor it is to serve in the Jury pool.  And with my first day in the Jury Pool completed, I can rest assured that I've performed the first day of my proud civic duty.
