THE ADVENTURES OF MELISSA MCCLELLAND

Melissa McClelland was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1979 which roughly makes her thirty-three years old.  However, her parents relocated from the United States of America to Canada where she spent her childhood and teenage years in both Toronto, Canada and Ontario, Canada.  She recorded and released four albums under her own name (Her debut album simply entitled Melissa McClelland was available through Daddy Warbucks Records, but isn't available anywhere anymore.  I don't know what the cover for that album looks like).  She married country music singer Luke Doucet (Solo albums and member of the country music band Veal) who, just like Melissa McClelland, also is a citizen of Canada.  Veal (Luke Doucet, but not Melissa McClelland was 33.3% of the trio)  only released three albums before breaking up.  Upon which Luke Doucet joined forces with his wife Melissa McClelland to form a duet rock group called Whitehorse and released two more albums.  Melissa McClelland also formed an all girl band called Ladybird Sideshow with Janine Stoll, Erin Smith and Lisa Winn.  Ladybird Sideshow appears to have broken up after only one album.  Released in August 28, 2012 the Whitehorse album The Fate of the World Depends on This Kiss is Melissa McClelland's latest album.
