THOUGHTS ON A COLD WINTER NIGHT

And it's late at night.  The weather is between eight degrees to ten degrees outside.  It's the type of weather that's so cold that the tiny bit of snow that has fallen never melted off.  It just lingers on the ground like a thin white blanket.  And yes, it was easy to shovel the driveway.  This isn't the type of weather for anybody to be homeless.  This isn't the type of weather to be sleeping on the sidewalk.  Sleeping on the sidewalk when the temperature low is eight and the temperature high is ten is the equivalent to suicide.  The poor homeless person would die of frostbite before morning arrives.  And yes, there are lots of homeless people in Cleveland, Ohio.  And I wonder how a homeless person survives in Cleveland, Ohio when they can't sleep on the sidewalk because the temperature high is ten and the temperature low is eight, but there's no home for the homeless to go to except sleeping on the sidewalk.  It's rough to have such an existence.  And I pray that the homeless population of Cleveland, Ohio will find a home and compassionate people who are willing to house them.  We can't ignore the homeless problem and except it to vanish instantly.
And as I'm lost in thought about homeless vagrants panhandling for coins while living on the sidewalk when the temperature high is ten and the temperature low is eight, here are some photos of film and television actress Brea Grant.
