WHEN WINTER BECOMES EITHER A LATE AUTTUMN OR AN EARLY SPRING

And so the return of arctic frost and miles high of snow was supposed to happen Friday and Saturday last week and then got moved to Monday and Tuesday of this week.  Then it was moved to Friday (today) and Saturday (Tomorrow).  And now the return of arctic frost and miles high of snow is being moved to Monday and Tuesday of next week.  So this huge apocalyptic snow storm of epic proportions keeps getting delayed further and further back, that it's easy to conclude that such a huge blizzard epic may not even arrive at all.  We all know what happens to the Guy Who Kept Crying Wolf and never producing an actual scary acting wolf.  When the actual scary wolf appeared, the Guy Who Kept Crying Wolf wasn't rescued by anybody and was both killed and eaten for dinner.  Still, while I'm worried about Global Warming and the Greenhouse Effect, I'm sort of glad that I won't need to shovel the driveway free of snow anytime this week.
Beau Willimon , Robin Wright (Formerly Robin Wright Penn), Kate Mara, David Fincher and Kevin Spacey---The cast of the cable television series House of Cards (A remake reboot of the BBC television series of the same plot and name, but a different cast of characters exchanging British Parliament politics with United States of America Capitol Hill politics).

Of course, the Gentle Reader might wonder what's all this fuss about the House of Cards series being televised on cable television.  I can only answer that question by talking about the BBC series that the American remake/reboot is based upon.  In the BBC version, Ian Richardson plays Francis Urquhart---An over ambitious House of Commons member who becomes Prime Minister in the original mini series (Based upon a 1989 novel by the same name) through a series of betrayals, murder and blackmail (Including the unprovoked murder of his only hope for a normal life girlfriend/publicist Mattie Storin played by Susannah Harker).
In the sequel mini series To Play the King (Hard to adapt to the United States of America) Based on a 1992 novel by the same name), Francis Urquhart overthrows the King of England in an ambitious plan to replace him in charge of the monarchy.  Once again, fictional Prime Minister Frances Urquhart murders, betrays, blackmails and murders his last remaining hope for a normal life #2 Sarah Harding (played by Kitty Aldridge) in an unprovoked act of murder one.  Despite succeeding in forcing out King Charles III, Francis Urquhart was still Prime Minister and not King of England as promised as William V was coronated (To Play the King had a very dim non-existant opinion that King William V and his wife Queen Catherine is even vaguely capable of ruling England properly and that King Charles III and Queen Camilla was a much better choice all along)
Instead, the third and final mini series in the mini series trilogy, The Final Cut (Based on a 1995 novel by the same name) ended with Francis Urquhart still only just the Prime Minister and not King of England as promised being shot dead by his own bodyguard.
And that leaves the Gentle Reader and I with the fourth installment of the House of Cards series (Again based on the 1989 era novel), Kevin Spacey plays Francis Underwood who goes from the House of Representatives into the White House.  So does that mean that Robin Wright as  Claire Underwood is also going to die so that Kevin Spacey as Francis Underwood can lose his only hope for a normal life and become a dead inside genocidal maniac and turn the United States of America into a dictatorship with concentration camps, refugee camps and mass genocide as public policy (How many television shows promised that, but never delivered it.  Not even the BBC version ever succeeded in making it that far.  I guess there's always hope that a coward porn show might actually show a would be genocidal maniac actually fulfill all of his promises instead of just talking and talking and talking and talking and talking about it without any progress to show for it.  And no, it's not my fault that coward porn shows has a would be genocidal maniac just talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking about it without any actual progress to show for it.  And no, showing a tiny itty bitty glimpse of a dictatorship starting up IN THE FINAL THREE SECONDS OF THE SEASON FINALE DOESN'T COUNT AS ACTUALLY MAKING PROGRESS BECAUSE WE KNOW WHATEVER PROGRESS WAS SEEN IN THOSE FINAL THREE SECONDS WILL BE REVERSED IN THE SEASON PREMIERE.)  At any rate, Kate Mara as Zoe Barnes and Robin Wright as Claire Underwood better watch their back just in case Kevin Spacey as Francis Underwood actually starts killing off his friends and allies (Like his British Counterpart Francis Urquhart has done) once again.  Brahahahahahahahaha!
As Francis Urquhart aka Frank Underwood frequently says, "You might very well think that; but I couldn't possibly comment."
