WHEN THE CRICKETS START TO SING

It's scorching hot outside.  Thankfully, I'm inside where it's air conditioned.  I'm going to be eating dinner soon.  It's almost evening and it's still daylight outside.  The days are getting longer and the night is getting shorter.  That would be bad news for vampires and good news for humans.  Since there isn't any actual vampires, there would be nothing to worry about.  Anyway, it's Summer and I'm going to enjoy the Summer season for however long it lasts.  One of the best parts of Summer is the chance to hear the crickets chirp.  Of course, it would be better if you were inside a park or a large forest area in order to hear the crickets.  Crickets are harder to hear when there's nothing but asphalt and concrete for miles and miles.  Not that there's anything wrong with miles of asphalt and concrete, but the chance to hear the cricket chirp their song makes Summer so much better.
And as I'm lost in thought in the scorching hot days of Summer, here are some Photos of LeAnn Rimes.
