THE COLOR OF THE SKY

The sky is a deep shade of blue. Not a cloud in sight. So I guess it won't rain today. The lawn looks like it might need to be mowed. Yeah, it's kind of cold outside, but it won't be too bad with a zipper up hooded sweatshirt. It's another calm day in the suburbs. It's a calm day like any other calm day. I'm not sure where the future would lead me and it's the uncertainty that makes the journey fascinating.  Because if you knew the future, it would be easy to avoid the bad parts of that journey.  And how would anybody learn from their mistakes if the bad parts of the journey was so easy to avoid.  At any rate, nobody knows the future because it's a blank page waiting to be filled.  And with luck, only positive hopeful events are waiting for me in the future.
