THE 2014 WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES IN SOCHI, RUSSIA

Russian President Vladimir Putin forming a political alliance with Ukraine President Viktor Yanukovych.
This isn't a movie set.  This is reality.  Ukraine used to be part of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic aka USSR.  However, when the Soviet Union collapsed and was replaced with the Russian Federation, the former state called Ukraine became an independent country in July 16, 1990.  President Viktor Yanukovych is the fourth President of Ukraine.  Ukraine President Viktor Yanukovych announced that he wants to form closer ties to Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin.  Opponents were afraid that such a move would resurrect the Soviet Union and help bring back hard line Communism.  Opponents would rather build closer ties to the United States of America and NATO.  When a peaceful protest in downtown square in Kiev (The Capitol of Ukraine) lead to riot police, anger escalated quickly.  Riot police fired rubber bullets which lead to protesters tossing rocks.  Then protesters tossed Molotov cocktails and set rubber tires on fire while riot police fired live ammo at the protesters.  Now Ukraine is on the verge of Civil War all because rioting protesters hate Ukraine President Viktor Yanukovych close ties to Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin so much, they would rather incite a revolution to overthrow Ukraine President Viktor Yanukovych.
