TROUBLE IN PARADISE

It's normally a perfect marriage despite the age difference.  Paul Simon is seventy-two years old and Edie Brickell is forty-eight years old.  Paul Simon was previously married to Peggy Harper in 1969 and divorced her six years later in 1975 and produced a son through the short lived marriage.  He married Carrie Fisher in 1983 and divorced her in 1984.  Paul Simon married rock star Edie Brickell of the New Bohemians and the Gaddabouts fame in May 30, 1992 and they produced three children together.  It was in the house pictured below that trouble began.  Paul Simon and Edie Brickell got into an argument.  Paul Simon would rather leave the house instead of finishing the argument.  Edie Brickell blocked Paul Simon's effort to leave the house.  Edie Brickell's mother, Larry Linden, witnessed the argument and dialed 911.  It's not clear if Paul Simon filed a domestic abuse charge against Edie Brickell or vice versa.  Both ended up getting arrested since that question was never made clear.  Perhaps a clear answer will be found under oath in the court of law.
Paul Simon and his wife Edie Brickell was brought before the judge.  They both denied that a fight broke out and professed their love for each other.  Paul Simon denied ever wanting to file a domestic abuse charge against his wife or vice versa.  Case dismissed because the Courtroom Judge had no idea what the heck went on in the house the previous night.

 Paul Simon left the Courthouse.
Edie Brickell left the courthouse too.
Paul Simon and his wife Edie Brickell walked hand and hand towards the parking garage.

Paul Simon and Edie Brickell made a daughter together.  Her name is Lulu Simon.  She was distraught over the fight both of her parents had against each other.
Edie Brickell looked back at her heyday of the late 1980's and early 1990's when she was at the top of the charts.
