AN EXPLOSIVE CASE OF NOT BEING ABLE TO LIVE WITH EACH OTHER AND NOT BEING ABLE TO LIVE WITHOUT EACH OTHER SO WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO WITH EACH OTHER

This isn't the original lineup of the band Hole and this isn't the final lineup of Hole, but rather this is the most profitable version of Hole.  There was a rumor that Kurt Cobain secretly wrote (and took no credit for) all the songs for the debut album for Pretty on the Inside.  However, when half of the band left, another died from drug overdose and Kurt Cobain committing suicide by sticking a gun down his throat left Hole in shambles before, during and after recording the album Live Through This.  And if Kurt Cobain was secretly writing all the songs for Hole and taking no credit for the bands early years, Courtney Love was on her own with only Eric Erlandson left around to help her out.  So in 1992 when Courtney Love was trying to reassemble her life and her band Hole before, during and after recording and touring to support the bands second album Live Through This, Courtney Love wrote the following in hopes of recruiting new members for her efforts to recruit a new lineup for Hole and I quote directly when I write this (Love, Courtney. Dirty Blonde: The Diaries of Courtney Love. Faber & Faber, Inc)....
[I want] someone who can play ok, and stand in front of 30,000 people, take off her shirt and have 'fuck you' written on her tits. If you're not afraid of me and you're not afraid to fucking say it, send a letter. No more pussies, no more fake girls, I want a whore from hell.
The new and improved (Not to mention the most lucrative incarnation of the band) didn't last long.  The new and improved Hole only stuck around long enough to record one album maximum before breaking up without ever touring to support the album.  A fourth album was recorded with a completely revamped lineup with only Courtney Love as the only female member of the originally female dominated band.  That version broke up too.  So now there's the chance that the classic (The band's third and most lucrative album to date Celebrity Skin) lineup consisting of Eric Erlandson, Patty Schemel, Courtney Love and Melissa auf der Maur might reunite.  Of course, that would everybody actually being able to be in the same room at the same time without World War Three erupting in the process.  Still, anything is possible as long as the dream is still alive.
