The Met Gala is an annual event held in May (That I'm only just starting to talk about) that is held in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I don't know much about it beyond a lot of rich and famous people are walking among works of art while dressed in tuxedos and ball gowns. It's a huge social event of the year to see and be seen in. It's doubtful that somebody who isn't rich and famous will be able to attend (Except the staff hired to work for the event and those won't be able to see much beyond their work station). It's something cool to see from a distance or from photos taken of the event after the fact. And you look at those photos and admire a lifestyle that most people will never be able to enjoy. Ah yes, to be rich, famous and being able to attend the 2014 Met Gala held in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. And yes, you get to see your favorite work of art too.
